The Commitment to Exercise

Exercising is crutial. Exercising is non-negotiable!!!!! I don't care how old you are or how young you are, when you exercise, you feel bettter and you will have more energy. As you get older, if you do not exercise, you feel like a big turd. If you don't use it, you lose it. Since I decided to get off my fat ass and exercise, I feel so much more energized! It is hard to find the time, and everything gets delayed, but it is so worth it!

Mainly I have been walking an hour a day with Herman or biking an hour. I even went to the gym yesterday to start some weight resistance!! I want my muscles to be toned. Unfortunately, I have done damage to my skin elasticity, and there is no fixing that, but I can work on my body to feel good about it. If I had to do it all over again, I would NEVER EVER have allowed myself to lose control of my body in this way. When I was young, I use to go to the gym 3 hours a day, and bike ride everywhere. I was obsessed about being physically fit. Once I got married and had the obligations of life, it's like I did not have time to take care of me. One must balance their life and part of the obligations of life is to take care of yourself first!

Food for the day:
Grapes = 1 point
Pineapple = 2 points
Fruit Dip = 2 points
Hot dog bun = 1 point
Hot dog = 1 point
Chips = 2 points
Angel food cake and cool whip = 2 points
Grapes and string cheese = 2 point
So far = 13 points

Dinner will be:
Barbecue Chicken = 3 points
Grilled Veggies = 2 points
Salad with toppins and glazed walnuts = 2 points

Total = 20 points
Today is Weight Watchers and the scale should be happy!

  1. It is so true that "life" tends to get in the way of your actual life. I do feel the same, when I am up and active-- I feel more energy. And I feel like a better mom, friend, teacher... It takes some time, but when I am active, I am better at everything else.
