Do I Dare???

OK, so just because I haven't been walking lately and never run and don't go to the gym is NO excuse not to try! I started walking again for the last two days and I plan on continuing walking on a daily basis, I have 3 complete months to get ready for this!!! I will be calling them today, to see if there is a time limit. If there is none, then nothing can stop me. If there is, then I may be screwed and I will be pissed. Let's see what happens.

Though I did start the walking again, the eating hasn't been too good. I MUST reach goal by my birthday, because I want to get the dress for the wedding and be ready for all the parties. I MUST be back under 150 before the Baby Shower.

When I started walking again, the feeling of freedom and health felt so good. If you haven't felt this, I really suggest that you begin taking walks before or after dinner, it definitely feels good.

I am trying to get my act together....NO.....I AM GETTING MY ACT TOGETHER!!!

I need more of it!

I need more time. 24 hours is just not enough.
work - 8 hours
drive - 2 hours
sleep - 7 hours
lunch - 1 hour
cook dinner and eat - 1 hour
shower and shower my mom - 1 hour, 30 minutes
dogs dinner and playtime - 30 minutes
miscellaneous house and backyard - 1 hour
exercise - 1 hour
prepare next day lunch - 30 min

That is 23.5 hours already and I was being kind on miscellaneous house, because I NEVER stop in the house. Also, I didn't include grocery shopping and hundreds of other things that I usually do. It is no wonder that I have no time lol

Oh well, this is something that I cannot change, so I better continue to learn to live with what I have and do the best I can.

I have been doing good on the diet and I am looking forward to the weekend so that I can do a little more exercise!

Today's Weigh In: 154 lbs
Weight Loss This Week: 4.5 lbs
Total Weight Loss: 16 lbs
Goal Weight: 135 lbs

Sorry I didn't post on Monday, but I was really busy at work and I had doctor's appointments on Friday.

As you can see, I am back on track. I have been doing well and enjoying all my meals. I would love to be at 149 by next Monday...let's see!! Gotta fight for it!

I really cannot stand to get home to almost darkness. I am so looking forward to the time change in March!! I can accomplish so much more when the sun is out!!

Hunger is building, so it's time for lunch.

Pushing along!

Day three of the 13 day diet and so far so good!!!

I had a piece of toast with my black coffee and it was heavenly hahahaha it's amazing how we take the flavor of food for granted when we are not dieting lol

My lunch was amazing. I had a salad with lettuce and tomato and then I had a bunch of grilled asparagus and an orange for dessert. The asparagus tasted like a steak lol My taste buds were happy dappy!!!

My dinner should be good also. I will have a two egg omelet with ham and another salad!!!

Feels good to eat right!!

Good Start

After a couple days of eating healthy, there are less withdrawal pangs!!! It is amazing how much better you feel when you eat right. It is amazing how much happier you get with yourself when you feel a little control.

Day one of the 13 day diet went really well. By night time, I started to get really hungry, so I ate a sugar free jello. When you are hungry, a sugar free jello taste as good as apple pie a la mode! lol

My steak and salad for lunch was delicious!!! I had a tiny cupcake at work,, but I felt totally in control, because even though it was yummy, I did not eat anymore. I am winning little battles. By the end of the week, I should be nailing this diet.

I will continue to walk by all the chocolates and cookies that I see, and before you know it...BAM, 5 pounds will be gone!!!

Happy New Year - 2011

Happy New Year...a new beginning. This is the year of the rabbit. According to Chinese tradition, the Rabbit brings a year in which you can catch your breath and calm your nerves. It is a time for negotiation. Don't try to force issues, because if you do you will ultimately fail. To gain the greatest benefits from this time, focus on home, family, security, diplomacy, and your relationships with women and children. Make it a goal to create a safe, peaceful lifestyle, so you will be able to calmly deal with any problem that may arise.

This is the year to hit goal weight. I did pretty good last year, but I screwed it up at the end. Oh well, can't look back...gotta look at the present and future to see what you gotta do to get where you want to go.

I started the 13 day diet today. I did all my groceries and cooked my lunch and had it ready to go for this morning. I had black coffee in the morning and then, dummy me, left this morning and I totally forgot my lunch. Luckily, when I went downstairs to the cafeteria, they had everything that I needed for lunch.... 3 hard boiled eggs, tomatoes and steamed veggies. Great....I am on track! I will have a piece of grilled chicken later and a sugar free jello with sugar free cool-whip.

I am not horribly hungry, but I do have my rough moments. I will get through them and I will survivive!

Today's Weigh In: 158.5 lbs

Weight Loss This Week: gained 12.5 lbs

Total Weight Loss: 11.5 lbs

Goal Weight: 135 lbs

I know that I did really shitty during the holidays!!! sucks, and all I can do is learn from it. Eating out of control is an addiction and it is very hard to be in control. I will do better next time!!!

Gotta find my inner strength so that I can accomplish my goal!
