Weekend time!!!

I have nothing going on this weekend, so the eating department should be controlled and I should have time for all my exercise and hopefully there should be a decent weigh in on Monday!!

I have to make a choice and I must be strong!!! The more things I do correctly, the closer I will be to my goal!!! I gotta stay focused!!!

Destination - Goal Weight


I see the track and I know where I should be headed, now I just have to steer in the right direction. I jumped on the scale and I did not like what I saw. Yes, that means there was a damn gain. I have to be very careful, because this is what I am great at...the yo-yo. lol I must stop myself now, and get back to being under 140. Allllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll aboard!!!!

Time to Get Back on Track

Starting Weight: 170 lbs
Last Weigh In: 142 lbs

Weight Loss This Week: ?
Total Weight Loss: 28 lbs
Goal Weight: 135 lbs

I had all intentions to weigh in today and I totally forgot. It is amazing how quickly you can get lazy. Maybe I subconsciously did not want to know what I weigh? maybe lol

Yesterday, I was so tired, but I forced myself to grab my music and walk for an hour. It felt so good, once I was done!

I have many luncheons planned ahead, but I have to start controlling everything else. It is too easy to make excuses to get off plan. I must exercise daily and start sticking to plan. Starting today, I will eat healthy and focus on what I need to do!
I will definitely take a weigh in next Monday, which will be November 1 and I have nothing planned for the weekend.

Gotta do my groceries tonight! It ain't easy, but I won't give up!

busy busy busy....

omg, I have not had enough time this week for blogging!

My sweet aunt was sick and then she passed away this morning. She died in her sleep, just the way she wanted it. She was very special and I will miss her terribly.

Eating has not been the best, but I have made time to do my walks after work. I gotta get in the swing of things and start remembering what my goals are.

Tomorrow I have the day off to take my mom to all of her doctor's appt. I will post on Friday.

It's Friday Again!


I am going to be walking a 5K Race for the Cure for Breast Cancer tomorrow morning!! I am going to make this a weekend of lots of exercise and eating right. I have to find a way to break this damn plateau. Let's see what the scale says on Monday

Beware





Beware, cuz its everywhere!!! No matter where you turn, someone has candy on their desk. The only defense is to be prepared and have your own legal goodies at your desk. Every bite of candy probably has one point or more!! So imagine how many points you can accumulate in a day!!

If you want to lose weight, your best bet is to STAY AWAY from all the candy and just don't have ANY!

Rain =(

I definitely do not like it to rain at the time that I get home, because that is when I do my exercise. Yesterday it was raining alot, and I got involved with indoor projects and so I did not do any exercise. I could have turned on some exercise routine on tv, but I did not. The fact is that I enjoy exercise outdoors, but I really have to force myself when it is indoors. It just is never easy lol. It's been raining in Miami, on and off all day, so I will hope that by the time I get to Key Largo, that the sun will shine and I will get to do a good walk!!! Let's pray!!!

Halloween is on its Way!!


Normally, I would start buying alot of candy already for Halloween and what would happen is that it would be all eaten prior to Halloween and then I would have to go out and buy a new batch for the neighborhood kids. Not this year!!! No candy until the day before Halloween!!! No temptations need to be in the house.

As it is, I always have chocolate Hersheys, in my mom's room, because she loves to eat it. Sometimes it is very hard not to touch her candy =) lol If we can just skip over Halloween, then the holiday season would not start for another month on Thanksgiving! So we have about 5-6 weeks left before Thanksgiving. Are you going to be ready, weight wise? I am!!!

I have been doing super! Sticking to the plan and doing all my exercise. What will it take to drop the three lousy pounds to get to 139? lol I don't know how long it will take, but I will continue to aim for it until I get there.

It's Weekend Time Again!!!


It's amazing, how the moment that I started the diet, I was back in the zone. This 13 day diet, kicks your ass back in gear!! NOW, I am ready for the weekend. I WILL BE AT GOAL THIS MONTH! (I will say that daily lol)

It's been a hard day, because there has been food everywhere for Customer Service Week. Gotta stay focused!!!

Can you say HUGE?

Huge...that is what I see now! I was morbidly obese, as they say in the medical field. I knew I was somewhat heavy, but I certainly didn't see what I see now. I was killing myself by means of overeating and gaining weight. I look at that picture, and I cannot believe that I allowed myself to get that way and that no one sat down to seriously talk to me to tell me how horribly FAT I was.

My eyes are open now, and I will NEVER EVER let myself do that to my body again. I deserve the best and the best is to eat healthy and properly and to exercise my body. It is so simple, yet in those days, it just did not click. And it's funny, because even when you are doing Weight Watchers, you can eat absolutely everything, but it just has to be in the right portions. So it's not like I am suffering now, or I am starving, but now I am eating correctly, exercising and all this still includes space for some chocolate in MODERATION!!!

A new mindset, a new me. Thank God!!!

Do Plateaus Actually Exist?

I was reading on what to do if you hit a plateau, and here are the suggestions.

Up the calories for two days and lower them for two days and do this for a couple of weeks.
Split the workouts so that you are boosing your metabolism.
Change the exercise routine.
Move around more in your daily schedule.
Get Real, by actually analyzing what you are eating and getting back to basics.

So what I will be doing is that while I walk for an hour, I will jog at least 1 minute every 10 minutes of walk time. During work hours, I will make it a point to take a little walk every hour. Lastly, I will be doing the 13 day diet beginning tomorrow, because this will reduce my carb and sweet intake.

I won't give up. I WILL BE AT GOAL WEIGHT BY THE END OF THE MONTH!!!

What Was I Thinking??????

Really, what the hell was I thinking? How did I allow myself to get like that. I am scanning old albums, and when I come across a picture like this, it pisses me off. Did I not see what was happening in the mirror? I know that I was not happy with my body, yet I did nothing about it. If I could do it all over again, I would take care of my body as if it were gold. I would NEVER let myself get more than 10 pounds overweight. We were living to eat, with no exercise, when you should eat to live with exercise.

I guess, we can't erase the past, and my body will never forgive me for it, so all I can do is change my present and future. I will continue my exercise and eating moderately and healthy.

Ok, so I lost a pound since last week, but I was aiming towards 139!!! 139, a number I am having difficulty getting to!!! This weekend I had lots of friends over the house and we ate and drank alot!! I have nothing going on this weekend, so I will make sure that this week should be a good week!!

I didn't have a good day today, so far, because since it was Customer Service Week, there was also food everywhere!!

M&M's to Weekend Party




I have NOT had any today!!! Not three, not two not one....NONE !!!

That will be a good start to a very hard weekend. It is party time all weekend, so it will not be easy. I will do my best and Monday, begins the 13 day diet!!

I have a breakfast also tomorrow, for one of the neighbors that has reached goal weight!! I intend to wake up by 7am, do an hour walk, shower and go to the breakfast. My party begins at noon, so I will try to leave everything done by tonight.
