Happy Thanksgiving!


I have not fallen off the earth, I am still here lol. I have been scanning pictures and haven't made time for blogging. I am almost done with this project and then I will be more diligent about writing on a daily basis!

I haven't been doing horrible, but I haven't been doing well enough to lose weight. I will have a weigh in on Monday and start fresh to see if I either lose weight in December or at least maintain.

This is such a difficult time of the year. There is so much socializing and eating. I try to taste most of the stuff and not eat too much of it!

I count my blessings and one of them is that I was strong enough to lose some weight this year. I have gotten rid of 25 pounds and I NEVER WANT TO SEE THEM AGAIN!!!

I hope everyone has a happy and safe Thanksgiving Day and a wonderful long weekend!!

Weigh In and Weekly Update


Today's Numbers:
Starting Weight: 170 lbs
Last Weigh In: 144 lbs
Today's Weigh In: 146 lbs
Weight Loss This Week: gained 2 lbs
Total Weight Loss: 24 lbs
Goal Weight: 135 lbs

yeah, it's another gain. sucks! I am not in the zone and I need to get there again. Gain, lose, lose, gain......not the best way to lose weight lol I haven't been able to walk every single day either. I think stress is having a toll on me. I have to find the way to beat it and continue on my path to goal weight. There are 6 weeks left in this year and I want to make them count!!!

I won't give up, that is for sure!!!

January 1, 2011?

Where will you be on the scale, come January 2011?

I guess it is time to seriously decide where we want to be. Do we maintain, gain or continue losing?

I really want to lose. I know it is hard, but I have to aim at losing. I want to be at goal weight and then decide I want to lose some more. Tough decision, but I really have to do this!!!

It is our choice...what will you be choosing?

Falling off the Wagon??


Falling off the wagon is NOT a good thing. It seems like saying no to goodies is getting harder and harder. It sucks. The good thing is that it is only November 11th, so if I were to start being disciplined, I could still reach goal by the end of the year!

I gotta find a way to stay focused!!! ayyyyy On Friday is the Key Largo Bridge Run and I will be walking 10K.....the bad part is that I will be going out with friends in the evening for "all you can eat stone crabs" hahahaha sooooo is that a balanced day? I'll have to make up for it on Sunday!!

It ain't easy, but I won't give up!!!

I didn't have time to post yesterday, due to the picture project that I am working on. I am doing much better and was able to lose 2 pounds. The time has changed and now it is dark by the time I am ready to walk. Even though I do not like that, I will force myself to continue walking or maybe it is time to hit the gym during my lunch hour again. I WILL BE UNDER 140 before the end of this year hahahaha. I won't give up!!!

The rain has stopped and I think we are in for a beautiful Fall weekend! All I have this weekend is a dance on Saturday night, so there are no excuses not to have a perfect eating and exercise weekend!! Gotta stay focused!!!

Stop the Rain!

Stop the rain, or at least stop it in between 5:30 - 8:30pm lol. I didn't get a chance to walk last night due to all the rain, and it has been raining all day today also! I love walking outside for my exercise and when I can't, it sucks! I guess I could turn on the tv and exercise that way, but I just don't like it as much as being outside with nature!! Let's see how the weather behaves!!
